How I work as an Online Therapist
Hi, I'm Sophie, an online therapist working with women across the UK and Australia who want to better understand their anxiety, emotions and relationship patterns.
If you’ve found your way here, you might be wondering whether therapy is right for you.
That’s completely understandable. Sometimes it helps to know a little about the person you’ll be talking to.
Firstly, I’m not a “nod and smile” therapist (although I do smile a lot). Therapy with me is collaborative, thoughtful and active.
I’ll notice patterns you didn’t realise were patterns, connect experiences across different areas of your life and gently challenge what might be keeping you stuck.
My work is grounded in a person-centred approach, which means sessions are shaped around you, your experiences and what feels most important.
At the same time, I integrate insights around nervous systems, self-protection behaviours and the different parts of yourself that have developed to help you cope.

Rather than just managing symptoms; our work focuses on what’s going on underneath.
Online therapy sessions tend to feel relaxed and human. Some clients prefer a more professional tone, others something more informal - so I naturally adapt.
There’s space for honesty, reflection and sometimes even a bit of humour.
Online therapy offers a flexible and supportive space for clients across the UK and Australia to explore anxiety, emotional patterns and life experiences.
